Two words: Rip Off. The publishers of those programs just want your money, they don’t care much about your computers well being. They hassle you a million times to buy it, but it’s not worth it. To make your computer run faster: Delete un-needed programs from the control panel, and run the disk defragmenter (yes it takes a LONG time, but it’s worth it). Also, download some good and FREE anti-spyware and anti viral programs. Go to http://www.download.com and download "Ad-aware SE Personal", "AVG Anti-Virus Free Edition ", and "AVG Anti-Spyware". These three programs work great together. Hope this helps.
