Sweet and Savory Pear Chutney

Sweat and Savory Pear Chutney

4 ripe pears cored and cubed
3 tablespoons ginger
2 tablespoons chopped garlic
2 tablespoons olive oil
½ cup of brown sugar
¼ cup of honey
¼ cup apple cider vinegar
a dash of cinnamon – to taste
a sprinkle of whole peppercorns – to taste

Sautee garlic, garlic in olive oil for about four minutes on medium heat. Add the apple cider vinegar, brown sugar and honey – bring to a boil. Add the pears, cinnamon and peppercorn – reduce heat and boil down until consistency is thick.

Cool completely and use it on everything from vanilla bean ice cream to burger topping!
