I Witness
Ashley Torrenti Interview – 1/28/10

The need in Haiti is great – and some here in New York are giving
whatever they can, sometimes in surprising and even inspiring ways.

Consider Ashley Torrenti, a 6th grader at Holy Family School in
Flushing. She saw an opportunity to turn a birthday celebration into
something more – an occasion for gift giving became, itself, a gift.
And that’s why she’s tonight’s “I Witness.”

This beautiful young woman has shown me that there IS hope as long as there are young people such as herself, coming up in the world today. What an inspiration she is to all of us, that we could/should be doing better.

God bless you!!

I missed something in my post…..our hope is in the Lord, always. But, it is such an inspiration to see this young lady and how she is allowing Christ to work through her. It allows others to see Christ in the way He is…. loving and forgiving.
