Writing the Wave
Grace Before Meals
Watch the Food Network and you’re going to see a lot of chefs. But it’s not often that you see a priest on that channel. Last year, though, Bobby Flay “threw down” the oven mitt and challenged Father Leo Patalinghug to a Fajita cook-off.
Father Leo is no stranger to the camera. He hosts his own web-based show that’s about food and much more. The show is part of Father Leo’s movement, “Grace Before Meals” – which is also the title of Father Leo’s book. A new edition of that book, which includes his now famous fajita recipe, has just been released.
Father Leo recently stopped by our studios to talk about “Grace Before Meals.” You can see the interview on tonight’s edition of Currents.
