“A privileged place where truth and knowledge meet.” That’s how
Bishop DiMarzio describes Catholic schools in his column in the Tablet
this week. Now, more than ever, the challenges facing these schools
are enormous.
This is Catholic Schools Week in the United States, and so we’re going
to be taking a closer look at some of those challenges. Tonight, we
begin a five-part interview series on Catholic education, with two
people from the diocese who know this subject intimately: Superintendent of Schools, Thomas Chadzutko… and Secretary of Catholic Education and Formation, Sister Angela Gannon.
