Catholic teachings on important social issues, along with the freedom to follow the Church, are enshrined in a document known as the Manhattan Declaration.
News Director Ed Wilkinson and Currents chief correspondent Bill Delano traveled to Columbia University to ask one of the document’s authors — Cardinal Timothy Dolan — how the Declaration should be read today in light of Pope Francis’s historic interview.
