I used to be homeless, and was at the Downtown Chapel in Portland, OR everyday. I think it is wonderful what they do there!!!! Having a place to go every morning was great. A cup of warm coffee, a bagel, and the most friendly helpful volunteers it was a great way to start the day, especially being homeless. I think the portrait project is awesome. The Downtown Chapel gave me hope. I will never forget the staff, Andy father Bob and Ron.
