That “little town of Bethlehem” is seeing a lot more visitors this time of year – and believe it or not, some of them are expectant mothers arriving to give birth.
Just a few hundred yards from the place where tradition holds that Jesus was born, another place is offering shelter and support for newborns. It’s the Holy Family Hospital in Bethlehem.
To find out more about the hospital and its mission, our Francesca Maxime spoke by phone yesterday with Colleen Marotta, in Washington, where she works as the executive director of the foundation that supports the hospital.
