One of the world’s most familiar musicals got a unique interpretation during Holy Week. Local high school students went on a theater retreat to perform scenes from the musical Godspell at the Mt. Manresa Retreat House on Staten Island.

It offered the students a way of looking at Jesus’ death and resurrection in a whole new way. And it gave the young people who took part a lot to think about… and sing about.
