Brooklyn celebrates Three Kings 1/09/12

It may have looked like Christmas all over again at one Brooklyn parish yesterday – but in fact a celebration in Williamsburg was all about the end of the Christmas season. It was the Parada Tres Reyes, or Three Kings Parade – to commemorate the arrival of the kings to see the infant Jesus. And just as those kings brought gifts, yesterday’s celebration at All Saints Church included plenty of treats for the children who took part. But, as we discovered, yesterday was about more than just presents.
