The temperature has risen quite a lot in the last few of days. So much, in fact, that you may just want to stay inside, and let the air conditioning keep you cool.
Thursday, however, was a day to get outside and hit the greens for a good cause. The Diocese of Brooklyn hosted the Third Annual CYO Golf Classic to benefit the athletic and spiritual needs of the youth of Brooklyn and Queens.
Our Jim Mancari headed out to North Hills Country Club in Manhassat, Long Island, and found out that the sweltering heat did nothing to dampen the spirits of those taking part in this worthy cause.
