Brooklyn is There for Haiti – 8/12/10

Seven months ago, the earthquake that devastated Haiti brought entire towns to the ground, forcing families into tent cities.  And since then, there have not been any significant signs of improvement for the island nation.

And although Haiti may seem to be largely forgotten, that’s not the case for the Diocese of Brooklyn, which has launched a special program, enabling Haitian-American priests to spend time in their homeland.
