May is the month of Mary, but Catholics hold celebrations for her year-round. This past weekend, the Brooklyn Diocese’s Dominican community came together in Williamsburg. At Saints Peter and Paul Church, they gathered for a celebration of Our Lady of Altagracia, the patroness of the Dominican Republic. And despite the snow on the ground and the cold temperatures, it was a warm celebration – rich in spirit.
