The latest decision on same-sex marriage in California has a lot of people of talking. In case you missed it, an appeals court panel issued an emergency stay of a previous ruling – meaning same-sex marriages won’t happen in California until at least December.
The decision has plenty of people cheering. The California Catholic Conference, which represents the bishops of that state in public policy matters, says it was “gratified” with the decision. The National Organization for Marriage also applauded the ruling, and our Matt McClure had a chance to speak by phone the organization’s president, Brian Brown.
