Haiti Earthquake Interview – 1/13/10

Hundreds of thousands of people are feared dead, and three million are
said to be affected in a Haiti after a magnitude 7.0 earthquake
there. Many in the Brooklyn Diocese want to know what’s happened to
relatives there – but with communications and electricity down,
they’re finding it extremely challenging.
Father Donelson Thevenin of Holy Cross Church in East Flatbush has
been fielding calls since the news first broke, and this morning, our
Francesca Maxime had a chance to sit down with him, to ask him how we
can make sense of this tragedy, and, what we can do to help.
