Insight of an Exorcist – 2/16/10
Get the Flash Player to see this player.

Lent is a good time to take stock – and take a hard look at how we can
all live a better life.

Which brings us to a story about a man who has spent much of his
career sizing up the good, the bad and the ugly – especially the last
two.

Few people understand the nature of good and evil better than he does
because… he’s an exorcist.

Recently, he visited a local church to talk about his experiences –
and to shed a little light on some very dark, and mysterious, corners
of life.

I’m having trouble. The video stops after the lady in red says “I think it’s important for our leaders…” I did wait until it was queued all the way.

what’s the name of the priest?

The name of the Priest is Fr. Jose Fortea, he made a good video that goes deeper in the exorcism entitled “Interview with an Exorcist”. You can purchase it at St. Joseph Communications, a great Catholic Media website. The url is: http://www.saintjoe.com/prodinfo.asp?number=9108 I hope this helps.

laymonk, i just let the video buffer all the way and it played fine from beginning to end. Try reloading the page or emptying your cache and then try to watch the video again.

What is the name of this priest and how can a Church get a hold of him to invite him to give a talk to the Hispanic community?

The St. Benedict Crucifix offers specific protection against the devil. My wife and I had an exorcistism performed on us when we had our Crucifix blessed at the St. Benedict Monostary. The St. Benedict crucifix has coded letters in a bar forming a cross and other letters around the circumference of the medal. The Latin Letters translate to read: MAY WE BE PROTECTED BY HIS PRESENCE AT THE HOUR OF OUR DEATH; (also)Go away, Satan! Never offer me your vanities. The things you offer are evil; Drink your own poison. May the Holy Cross by my lignt. May the Dragon (devil) not be my guide. The Cross of the Holy Father Benedict.

After I had a healing at an apparition site, my rosary turning gold, miraculous photos, and also receiving some other mystical “gifts”, I’ve had a few encounters with the “evil side”. Though it was very frightening, what worked for me was the phrase, In the name of Jesus, be gone!

We should all take a moment and thank God for priests like this one who are given special graces to assist us, protect us, and heal us. The key point that Father jose Fortla made was that we should really focus on becoming Holy only with the help of God through the action of the Holy Spirit. We should avoid sin at all costs and then go to confession often. The devil has no power over us unless we give it to him through personal sin. Let us pray…

Good to see this ;sins like abortion and immorality are possibly vast areas of demonic entry into lives of persons , where one end up giving dominion to evil and suffer with despair, hatred, depression and many physical ailments too as a result.

Seems priestly ministries where exorcism prayers are used liberally through all the talks, along with praise and thanksgiving are thriving ; after all, we live in a culture where the power of voice is used much to mock God , just like in the case of our first parents; they had taken in the spirit of the evil one ny listening to its voice and thus made it their partner !
The Word HImself comes to set us free and when Elisabeth heard His Mother’s voice , she was filled with The Holy Spirit ; The Mother in whom, over whom Holy Spirit had overshadowed, taken charge again , to undo the dominion of the evil one !

We hear the constant mocking laughter on t.v against Godly values .
May participation in The Litugy of The Church , the healing words of The Lord , through the priest in the confessional and all such means of prayer and deliverance , set many free !
Thank You Father !
