Into The Deep: After Ad Limina Visit 12/22/11

Late last month, Pope Benedict met with Bishops from New York State as part of a series of ad limina visits that all bishops make with Benedict. The meetings are aimed at giving the Pope and the bishops the opportunity to discuss, in person, what’s happening in dioceses around the world.
This year, Pope Benedict instituted a change to these meetings: instead of speaking with each bishop one-on-one, he’s talking with them in groups. We had a chance to hear more about his meetings with the New York Bishops from Brooklyn Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio, who sat down with our News Director, Ed Wilkinson, for this week’s “Into The Deep.”
