It was again a huge turnout in Washington, as tens of thousands of people converged on D.C. for the 39th annual March for Life. The event coincides with the anniversary of the Supreme Court’s 1973 Roe v Wade decision that legalized abortion in all 50 states.
The crowd heard from a diverse group of people – bishops, pastors, leaders of pro-life organizations – and even elected officials. Brooklyn and Queens were well represented, as around 350 people from the Diocese travelled down to Washington, including the young lady you’re about to hear from. Rayna Carolina runs the Queens office of the Expectant Mother Care Crisis Pregnancy Center. We caught up with her in Washington where she shared her story about why she’s pro-life – and why she marched.
