Egypt may be on edge following the latest news that Hosni Mubarak will
remain in office through September, but a group with origins in the
Middle East had reason to celebrate last night.

Maronite Catholics, whose church was founded in Lebanon, celebrated
the 16 hundredth anniversary of the death of their patron – Saint
Maron. We sent to our cameras to a local celebration at Our Lady of
Lebanon Maronite Catholic Cathedral in Brooklyn Heights, where the
festivities took place alongside expressions of hope for the troubles
in the Middle East.
