What do you need to make a school? There are the obvious things: classrooms, textbooks, teachers and, of course, students. And for many schools in Brooklyn and Queens, *faith is at the center of it all.

That is certainly the case at St. Mary, Mother of Jesus-St. Francis Cabrini Academy in Bensonhurst. It is one of the many Catholic academies in the Diocese of Brooklyn that is thriving and it is our latest “School of the Week.”
