Special Needs Christmas Party – 12/16/09

More than 54 million people in the U.S. have some form of disability.
Although they have “special needs,” they also have the same basic needs that everyone else has – like the love and companionship of friends and family.

A group of friends from the Mothers Guild at St. Francis Prep in Fresh Meadows, Queens were among the volunteers this past weekend at the school’s annual Christmas Party for those with special needs.

They had it all – singing, dancing… and presents. If you’re not already in the Christmas spirit – get ready!
