JANICE VLLAROSA – PAGTUO (FAITH) was inspired by her brother’s own struggle with cancer. When he was diagnosed, the doctor said if it was not treated he only had 2-3 months to live. He went through the surgery and aggressive chemotherapy but there were still problems. Through the power of prayers from his family, friends, the church, and even the youth whom he ministers, he survived. Pagtuo is the second film that Janice directed while being in film school for only two and a half months. Most recently, in a span of one year and a half years, she has been involved in approximately forty productions as Producer, Director, Assistant Director, Unit Production Manager, Production Designer, Editor, Casting Director, Acting Coach, and as an Actress. A highly motivated individual, in six weeks she produced nine short films. She is currently working on post-production for a short film which she directed and produced and is in pre-production for a documentary feature film which she is also directing and producing. “Although I like doing films in different genres, I believe my path lies in doing films that deals with social issues. If this film could just bring hope to at least one person, I’m happy.”

As an actor, Brio has been seen in commercials, television, movie and stage productions.
