A little about the Artists:

Robert F. Killion (One Overboard)

Robert F. Killion is a writer/director from Reading, Pennsylvania who seeks through the art of film to inform, inspire, and bring Truth to light.  In addressing the Christian Problem of Evil in “One, Overboard,” the film shows us how terrible occurrences do not eliminate God’s Goodness.  The main character, Jonah, played by Chris Brockway, only remains in pain of evil because he has forgotten the Goodness of creation.  The film is a product of an excellent crew from DeSales University in Center Valley, PA including co-producer Tristan More and Directors of Photography Amanda Schneider and Loïc de Lame.  It also features such talented actors as Sean Egan, Joy More, Steven Dennis, Francis Nessel, and Sara Hulse.  The team assembled in September of 2007 and shot the film over several weekends until February of 2008.  It debuted at the 2008 DeSales Film Festival. Film, Killion believes, is an artistic medium through which we ourselves can remember the Goodness of creation and be inspired to be better human beings.  A graduate of DeSales, he is also a poet, essayist, and member of a National Scholastic Honor Society, Delta Epsilon Sigma.  “One, Overboard” is the first major short film directed by Robert Killion.  Since then, he has teamed up with several other artists and actors from DeSales to direct many shorts including, “The Mark of the Beast,” “To Wash Between Whiles,” and “Too Dim,” many of which can be found online.  He currently resides in Philadelphia, pursuing film and writing.
